he depth of the trail Azari rode, was now fully illuminated by the warmth of the beautiful sun shine above her head. The wind blew through the trees gently giving Azari a little comfort. Azari did not care about the way she left and felt very glad she left. She was at peace now. Free from facing the embarrassment of her drunken behavior the night before. She was sure she gave Trevor the wrong impression but almost thought she could feel anything for him. She felt now more than sure about this as she was away, and could clear her head. " What was he thinking? Him a Knight?! Huh!..I don't think so. I know, it was the ale. I don't think I can recall what was real and what was not. It is too blurry in my head. Yet why does my heart pound when I think of him?" Azari reached down to get into her saddle bag to get her tiera to tie her hair from her sweaty face. The sun was very bright. She looked all around as she traveled on a steady gallop towards town.
Far behind her she could barely see something moving closer and closer. She was being followed. She panicked in fear as she quickly put on the tiera getting some of her hair caught up underneath the ropes for Jetta. "Ouch! " pulling her hair out. Jetta began to slow down a bit. Azari gained her balance to look behind her again, this time the blurry figure was gaining more speed. " Jetta we need to see who this is before we race off." What if it's father? Well... either way we are NOT going to stick around for this person to get very close. Azari checked her belt to see if her dagger was secure. Her heart beating through her throat.
"Azari, it's me Trevor! Waaaaaaait I'll Be right Thhhhhere.' Trevor sped up into a race to get there. She could tell that he was desperate to get to her.
" Oh God! now what? this better be good...." she was a little bothered by his presence. " This is all I need Jetta," Azari shook her head and squeezing her lips tight with a sigh.
Dust flew up from the gravel on the ground. "I-I ..you..." breathing hard "let me catch my breath." Trevor stood still mounted on his horse trying to gain his composure.
" Well... spit it out why don't you- I haven't got all day" Azari was not happy to see him. She rolled her eyes with her pouty little frown she always had whenever someone pestered her. Trevor sort of reminded her of the little boy in the court yards who insisted of his own way; that is until Azari came along. He wouldn't leave her alone after that.
That was then and this is now she quickly reminded herself.
"Well...I'm WAITING."
"Why did you leave? Have I done something to upset you? Trevor had a pathetic look on his face, desperate and sincere. The kind of look that just made Azari all the more annoyed.
" What do you care? You have enough company, you don't NEED me. Besides, I had to leave, I couldn't bear the embarrassment I caused you and your friends." Azari got off her horse to drink some water and give Jetta some too. Trevor followed her.

revor scowled petulantly at Azari's scathing words. "Friends? I'd hardly call them friends. We barely met before you arrived." With a dismissive wave he declared, "Who cares what they think anyway? We have a right to a little fun once in a while." Trevor swatted a fly from his face impatiently. Azari seemed to be in a bad mood, or was she normally this fiesty? Oddly enough, Trevor found this attractive. He liked women with spirit, especially if they were equally gorgeous. Azari certainly excelled at both.
The young knight watched as Azari watered her horse, his eyes on her sweat streaked face. He liked the way her lips pouted, so full and soft. He found his mind wandering, wondering what it would feel like to kiss them. Trevor took a bold step closer to her and quietly said, "What makes you think I don't need you? That I don't care about you, hmm?" He rubbed Jetta's nose and added, "I came after you, didn't I? Doesn't that prove something?" Trevor's eyes twinkled charmingly as he spoke. Surely she would see that and realize that he did care for her and was attracted to her.

elene smiled her thanks to Tiel. "I trust your judgement Tiel, and I think that would be agood idea." She nodded. "Let's go now, before he comes back. I don't want to have to explain myself to him and his high and mighty routine."
Tiel chuckled quietly and nodded. "Tiel, where's the nearest town? Preferably one with an inn with baths that doesn't have wyverns in it." Selene sighed. "OR stuck up knights." She brushed chestnut curls out of her eyes, dark and stormy.
"I'm afraid I don't know the geography of this area very at all, I myself just left my own home town." She shrugged helplessly, and equally helpless look on her face.
Selene didn't acknowledge her, but rode with her head slightly down, letting her horse take her where he would.
Tiel's ears pricked up to the voices on the path ahead, as did Starstruck's, but Selene seemed too deep in her thoughts to hear them. Tiel moved back close to the horse and stopped him. "Lady Selene, there's someone ahead of us, do you want us to keep going or turn back?"

revor reached out to take her hand, gazing into her eyes " What makes you think, I don't NEED you?" Azari had seen the seriousness of his expression and felt a bit sorry for him but she must not lose her determination to become a Knight. She thought, getting caught up in the game of love is not what she needed right now.
It would weaken her mind and spirit. No she must make it clear to Trevor that her main focus in life is centered around her training. It was obvious in her countenance she was indifferent. She reached out to take hold of Trevor's other hand. With her stance in a demeaning manner as she tilted her head making a musing face gesture. " And what is it that YOU need ME for( pausing).. hmmm?" Shaking her head to tease him she continued her play role. " Is is love? Hmmm?..." Her eyes meeting his, she gently took away her hands putting her body back into a relaxed stance. " Trevor, I don't have time for love. Have you not forgotten- I am on a quest for knowledge and training for a warrior knight?" Azari walked away to turn to face her horse. " Besides, you are not my type." If I had feelings for you, it was the ale swaddling me to think more. I think you are a kind gentleman and perhaps the brave knight you portray yourself to be...indeed, but I am afraid you have mistaken me." She turned around to look at him her eyes filled with pity. " You see...love is what you left behind when you came after me! Your companions THEY are quite a choice!."
Azari took her sword out from her belt to raise it in the air " I am a WARRIOR! and THIS is what I DO!" Azari lowered her sword again and put it into her belt holder. "Now... I have to be sure to get into town today, I don't want to allow Jetta and I to become dehydrated. If you want to journey with me, you are welcome Trevor, but do not expect anything more from me than kinship relations, I will treat you like a brother." She mounted herself upon her horse.
"I know you must think of me in a odd way, never meeting someone quite so bold and independent. I have learned from my father to depend upon myself. If you are to become my friend and brother in spirit, than you too must join me in the quest. After all two are better than one traveling in these parts. Sorry if I am hurting your feelings, I didn't mean for you to perceive anything from our night we had at the campground. I was merely having some fun. The night was young and I needed to let go of some stress. After all, you were so kind and fun to be with. However, I am still embarrassed for the way I have acted and also for the way you and the others were treated." She covered her face with her hands " It is not like me to do those kinds of things but when I was around you, I couldn't help myself. I KNOW-I--it was just- uh... it was just that I am not good with ale and drank too much." She couldn't face him as now things were scrambling in her head as she tried to recall just what she did. " I-I didn't mean to give you a message of love when I kissed your head. I was just...oh-never mind!." She couldn't say it the way she wanted. "Are we going to go or what?"
